I'm finishing my junior year at a tiny little Christian college on Chicago's southwest side. I have some made some lifelong friends here.I am pursuing a nursing major alongside a psychology minor, that keeps me really busy!
While most of the year keeps me here at school, I call my home Markesan, WI.
I live on a 1200 cow dairy farm that my dad and uncle run. Growing up on a farm has taught me how to work, respect others, have patience, and to have fun. This is something I really appreciate and am glad I have-I feel a lot more mature that some of the people I know here because of my upbringing.
Besides being at school, I also enjoy my family's lake home. We lay in the sun, grill out, boat, ski, wakeboard, kneeboard, tube, swim, kayak, etc as much as we can.
There's also a special someone who keeps me coming home, my boyfriend Nathanael. We have been dating for over 4 years now!
My family is also very special to me. I am the oldest of four kids in five years-that entitles me to some big sister duties. I know my sisters look up to me and I love each of my siblings a lot. I'm also close to my extended family. Some of my best friends are my cousins and my grandma Smits is my role model-not many people can say that!
I'm blessed by my Heavenly Father. God gives me new life everyday and strengthens me to live for him and be a witness for Him-literally Jesus' hand and feet.
